The college of veterinary medicine has lately organized an interesting lecture delivered by the Islamic preacher and researcher Mr. Ali al-Talqani entitled “The difference between aggressiveness and personal strength”, in the presence of the representative of the rector of the University of Baghdad, the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Hameed Ali Kazim, his assistants, heads of scientific branches as well as a great gathering of faculty members and students.
The lecture addressed matters related to the most vivid forms of the aggressive behavior, which is a widespread phenomenon in the community and that may be a general attitude among individuals in many ways and situations which would vary from one person to another having different images depending on when and where it appears. Mr. Ali al-Talqani stated that such trend is a psychological and a verbal condition having direct relationship to physical aggression so we should distinguish it from the signs of personal strength. At the conclusion of discussion, the lecturer was honored by the deanship with the shield of the college of veterinary medicine for all his good contributions to raising the awareness of young people and his intellectual giving.
