The Department of Biology at the College of Science for Women held its first festival of extracurricular student activities in the courtyard of the department as part of a ceremony attended by a number of teaching staff in the scientific departments of the college and members and students of the department.
A bazaar for the handicrafts made by female students was opened up and that included the presentation of artistic aspects such as drawings, handicrafts, awareness posters designed and executed by the students that were displayed under the supervision of their professors. During the festival, poems were recited and musical tracks were played by the female students who showed the artistic and cultural aspect of their personalities: and at the conclusion of this event, the top students of the last academic year were honored and entertainment competitions were held and gifts were dedicated to the participants.
