Professor from the college of Islamic sciences authors a book on the Andalusi rhetoric terms and criticism

Prof. Dr. Ziad Tariq Jassim, a faculty member from the department of Arabic language at the college of Islamic sciences has authored a book entitled “Rhetoric and critical terms in the Book of the Biography of Ibn Jabir al-Andalusi (780 A.H)”. The book included a rhetorical and critical journey in the second beginning organized by Ibn Jabir al-Andalusi, which was organized after that of Safi al-Din al-Hilli, where he analyzed the critical and eloquent side of this book that showed him as a critic as one of the orientalist critics who made a change and an increase in the number of rhetoric terms in his age. The author adopted a method of investigating rhetorical and critical terminology, and found that it is necessary to separate terminology, as they work within one scope, i.e, poetry.
