Dr. Abdul Hadi Mahmoud al-Zaidi, a faculty member at the department of Islamic philosophy at the College of Islamic Sciences, has won the membership of the administrative body of Al-Baseera Society for Media Research and Development, during an event which took place in the presence of representatives of the department of scientific societies at the ministry of higher education and scientific research, as well as a number of media channels and legal observers.
Dr. Abdul Hadi al-Zaidi stated during his speech that these elections are held according to a periodic schedule to be held every three years, according to the Law of Scientific Societies of the Ministry of Higher Education headed by Dr. Yassin Hamad al-Eithawi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, where the council includes scientific associations organized under a specific law and that requires the accession of specified associations from each scientific or humanitarian disciplines. It is noteworthy that Al-Baseera Society has various contributions in the field of media training, holding conferences, seminars and scientific workshops inside and outside Iraq, and has accredited membership and concluded cooperation agreements with more than one scientific and media organizations inside the country and in various Arab and international countries.
