The Continuing Education Unit of the College of Islamic Sciences organized a cultural lecture entitled “The impact of tolerance on the development of society” in collaboration with the Department of Comparative Religions. The lecturers symposium confirmed the importance of tolerance in all communities, because of its impact on the creation of intimacy and affection, with an evidence of the tolerance witnessed in Islam via the instruction of Quran and Sunnah, and its great impact on tightening social cohesion, strengthening its bonds, cooperation among its members, and not entering into chaos, which in turn leads to peaceful coexistence between the components of society, and their interaction with each other to ensure phases of tranquillity, progress and prosperity.
