The Department of Crisis Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies held a seminar entitled “The Impact of the Demographic Dimension on Political Stability in Iraq” presented by Dr. Basim Ali who studied the demographic dimension of countries and communities of important studies and sciences to identify the most important challenges that the demographic dimension carries in different areas of life, especially in Iraq and how to determine its impact on the political stability as being an important topic, adding that Iraq is witnessing a significant demographic transformation at the population side, which poses major development challenges requiring the development plans and justifications required to prevent this population increase from becoming a threat to stability and peace in the country.
