The Department of Electrical Engineering at the college of engineering has organized a scientific visit for its students of the third grade and a number of professors at the department to the Research Center at Al-Nahrain Nanorenewable Energy Research Center with the aim of spreading scientific and practical awareness of the importance of renewable energy as an alternative source of energy to develop solar energy research and solar designs. It is noteworthy that this center seeks to produce and provide electricity from renewable and clean sources of energy rather than costly and polluting conventional energy, in addition to providing students on how to making studies on biomass and nano applications in detail.
