The Center for Educational and Psychological Research at the University of Baghdad held a lecture entitled “Building the status of women in society” delivered by the head of the department of educational research, Dr. Huda Mohammed Salman al-Qaisi.
The aim of the lecture was to show the most important pillars for building its position through legislation of the Women Care Law who do not have a breadwinner because it is directly affected by the protection of women and not to infringe on their rights as they are socially and economically vulnerable groups, as well as to encourage the role played by educational centers in universities interested in women’s cadres to promote responsibility for awareness and rehabilitation and in serious treatment of the effects of terrorism on them. The lecturer also dealt with the development of educational curricula for schools and universities that support the respect of women and recognition of the importance of their role as a educator and as a school to prepare a conscious generation that works to build and prosper the nation and emphasize the principle of Islam and the correct interpretation, especially those related to women’s rights. She concluded her lecture by having educational guidance courses to regulate the right relationship between men and women, prompting men to know the true status of women.
