The head of the department of pure sciences at the Center for the Revival of Arab Scientific Heritage at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Saadi Ibrahim al-Darraji, has recently participated in the scientific conference on antiquities and heritage sponsored by the ministry of culture. Dr. Saadi al-Darraji presented a research paper on the oldest tablet that dates back to the Ottoman era in Iraq in the reign of Sultan Suleiman Al-Qanouni (963 Ah 1556 AD), where this tablet renovated the ancient mosque built by the Abbasid caliph Al-Nasir il-Din Allah at the end of the 6th century AH, known as Al-Sarai Mosque in Baghdad.
