The University of Baghdad has announced the controls and mechanism for granting thanks and appreciation certificates for researchers by the rector of the university of Baghdad Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi for every research published in a global journal listed in international repositories.
The mechanism included the researcher’s affiliation and the need for publishing three research papers as well as the journals indexed within Springer Nature, Springer Science, Clarivate Analytics and Scopus databases on condition that researches should have an impact factor. It is noteworthy that the scholars who obtain an H-index not less than 10 degrees are to be honored by the rector with a book of thanks once and even in the event of having an H-index= 50% or having a patent or when having the role of a reviewer to evaluate article submissions to journals based on the requirements of a given journal on condition that the researcher is registered within Publons.
