Dr. Atheer Abdullah Mohammed, a faculty member from the department of industrial management at the college of administration and economics, has recently gained an h-index of 6 for his research published in global journals. It is noteworthy that the h-index is an author-level metric that measures both the productivity and citation impact of the publications, initially used for an individual scientist or scholar and that is based on a set of the scientist’s most cited papers and the number of citations received in other publications, as well as regarding it as a tool for determining theoretical physicists’ relative quality since it is working as a true measure of the quality of the researcher’s output, not the journal, so we can identify good researchers in a particular discipline.
