Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad met the second deputy speaker of the former parliament and the current member of parliament Mr. Hassan al-Kaabi, where the two sides discussed a number of issues of interest to the university at the scientific and administrative levels, also exchanging talks about a promising project to develop the reality of the university in coordination with the ministry of higher education and scientific research to support the reconstruction of infrastructure and the kind of services provided for faculty members and staff in alignment with the scientific sobriety of our university.
Also Prof. Dr. Munir al-Saadi stressed that there are promising efforts to support the university’s professors by the construction of housing units to ensure their stability in permanent residences, confirming his support for the teaching bodies in such housing projects through raising this issue in the upcoming sessions of the House of Representatives. It is noteworthy that the project includes the construction of a number of colleges and residential complexes for faculty members within the university lands, as well as the distribution of a number of plots of land in an attempt to support this scientific community and the competencies that contribute to the progress of our country.
