Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad and his delegation met recently His Excellency the minister of interior Minister, Othman al-Ghanmi, within the framework of cooperation between the two sides and to exchange talks concerning issues of common concern and coordination between state institutions in cultural and cognitive matters with the aim to improve the community. During the meeting, they discussed the common aspects between the ministry of interior and the University of Baghdad and how to benefit from research and lectures, especially those involved in security aspects.
Dr. Munir al-Saadi expressed his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the minister of interior for his support, cooperation and communication with his sons the students during the graduation ceremony of the 64th course for the academic year (2020-2021) and his active presence in other university’s events. The two sides also discussed various important topics that serve the scientific process in general and ways to overcome obstacles facing professors and students alike. In the same context, Mr. Othman al-Ghanmi stressed that people rise up and thrive with knowledge and education in a way that contributes to creating a safe environment capable of building a promising generation and a bright future.
