The head of the department of international community research at the center for women’s studies, Assist. Prof. Dr. Abeer Najim Abdullah al-Khalidi, has participated in a dialogue symposium on the anti-violence against women via a lecture entitled “Violence against women: causes, effects and treatment mechanisms) held at the central library within the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence. Dr. Abeer al-Khalidi addressed the role of the center for women’s studies in supporting its economic and political empowerment policy, as well as the launch of women’s observatories and the role of the center in supporting, repelling, evaluation and follow-up, which follows the launch of its own observatories, the process of representing women in decision-making and awareness activities on women’s empowerment and asserting their role in society.
