The department of journalism at the college of media has organized a scientific debate among doctoral students to discuss public opinion studies in the United States of America to shed light on new methods of education applied to keep up with recent developments in delivering lectures and get rid of usual teaching routine and the need to leave old methods through target discussions by raising contemporary issues in surveys and reaching answers concerned with the sophisticated and comprehensive methodological characteristics to analyze the contents of public opinion trends.
The debate included a discussion with the former dean of the college of media at Cairo University, Prof. Dr. Rajia Ahmed Qindeel, on the study of public opinion in the USA, including sources of production and its tools, content and trends. The scientific debate showed that America has excelled in the field of public opinion polls and has made many efforts and contributions in this regard for enriching the scientific heritage of public opinion studies as well as the American contributions to the manufacture of present and future studies.
