Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has presided over the ninth session of the university’s council for discussing many topics that contribute to improving the reality of education at our beloved university.
The rector announced the adoption of a new and an important system for admission and application for postgraduate studies within the framework of the independence of universities, adding that the University of Baghdad has been selected along with the universities of Anbar, Kufa and Mustansiriyah, to adopt this new online system used by the postgraduate applicants so as to follow-up their data from the first day of study. Dr. Munir al-Saadi expressed his thanks and appreciation for the constructive and concrete cooperation between the department of postgraduate studies and the computer center for the sake of adopting the appropriate mechanism to work with the relevant ministerial committees through the establishment of workshops in order to overcome disadvantages or obstacles that exist in the new application system if any, as well as shedding light on the pros of this project, which is the basic block and the important step in the process of the independence of universities in a real way.
