The college of physical education and sports sciences for women has organized a lecture entitled “Narcissistic personality disorder” delivered by Prof. Dr. Muna Talib al-Badri, a faculty member from the Individual Games Branch. The lecturer at first defined the concept of narcissistic personality disorder as a mental condition in which people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships, and a lack of empathy for others, that distinguishes people who suffer from this case as being of a very great concern, since they feel a great need for attention and admiration, loss of sympathy for others, his possession of troubled relationships, absolute selfishness at the expense of others, inability to take into account the feelings of others at all.

The lecture classified the diagnostic and statistical symptoms of narcissistic personality disorders into nine criteria, the most important of which is the feeling of being of great importance, concern for the illusions of unprecedented success, strength, brilliance, beauty or perfect love, believing that he is a special and unique person and can only be understood by privileged or high-status people, the need to be admired, the sense of entitlement, the loss of empathy towards others, the envy or belief of others that he is the object of envy, the manifestation of arrogant and exploitative behavior among people. Dr. Muna al-Badri noted how to deal with narcissistic personality in terms of providing some advice, the most important of which is discrimination with extreme attractiveness at first, their desire to get the bulk of the talk about how great they are, living on compliments, exaggerating their lack of sympathy, not having long-term friendships, constantly trying to harass others, adding that narcissists avoid defining the relationship that brings them together with other individuals, believing that they are right about everything they do or decide, never apologizing and tend to panic when others try to break up with them.
