Prof. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hameed Ashour, the assistant rector for scientific affairs at the University of Baghdad has recently visited the college of education for pure and applied sciences (Ibn al-Haitham) to inspect the progress of the final examinations for the first semester for postgraduate studies accompanied by the director of the department of postgraduate studies at the university. The dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Firas Abdul Hamid Abdul Latif, received them accompanied by his assistant for scientific & postgraduate affairs Prof. Dr. Hassan Ahmed Hassan and his assistant for administrative affairs Prof. Dr. Hassan Kamil Ressan as well as a number of heads of departments and the director of the postgraduate division at the college. Dr. Marwan Abdul Hameed made a tour to the exam halls and kept abreast of the kind of exam questions and the work of the exam committees.
