Workshop on the design of smart cities at the college of engineering

The continuing education unit at the college of engineering held an online workshop entitled “Smart cities and how to design them” delivered by the lecturer Dr. Anwar Qasim and in the presence of the dean of the college Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Neima and the assistant dean for administrative affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Kareem Ali and the assistant dean for the scientific affairs Assist. Prof. Dr. Thiaa Jassim. The workshop dealt with the topic of smart cities in different countries of the world and the cost of designing them and how to use them in improving the level of awareness and developing skills and increasing employment opportunities for individuals especially the details of designing smart cities architecturally and how to take advantage of all the spaces available in a city in order to serve a clean and environmentally friendly environment.
