The college of physical education for women at the University of Baghdad has organized a seminar on re-engineering and its relationship to administrative excellence delivered by the doctoral student Jinan Rasool Sultan in which she referred to the concept of re-engineering as a fundamental rethinking, as well as a radical redesign of administrative processes in order to achieve fundamental improvements in critical performance measurement standards such as cost, quality, service and speed, and noted that it is a process of returning to zero through which tasks, ideas and plans will be redistributed for a new beginning. She added that management excellence is the result of an organization’s efforts to determine customers’ expectations about the service they provide in order to improve and develop them to provide better services that exceed expectations and to make the organization a model to follow.
