The Mental Nealth Nursing Branch at the college of nursing has organized a visit to Al-Rashad Training Hospital for Mental Diseases to introduce a number of its students to some critical mental cases of patients under direct supervision of their professors as well as for developing communication skills and how to deal with patients with mental or psychological disorders. During the tour in the hospital lobbies, the students were informed of the health and psychological condition of patients resident there to assess their health condition and to provide psychological care through the use of some therapeutic communication techniques, psychological guidance and giving the treatments prescribed by the competent physician.
