The Center for the revival of Arab scientific heritage at the University of Baghdad has organized recently a seminar “The Islamic regime and its impact on agriculture in the Baghdadi community” which was delivered by the lecturer Dr. Rasha Issa Faris who talked about the importance of agriculture as essential in human life since ancient times and who depended in his pension on plant products and then began to practice plant cultivation as an easy work.

The lack of risks and his work in agriculture was one of the most dangerous coups in the development of human life since he became in control of the means that ensured the production of his power as well as that helped him in domestication of animals, and thus was one of the most important factors in the development and progress of civilizations was the factor of drought in the Arabian Peninsula and its transformation to a barren desert, the great impact of which led people to return to agriculture in addition to the first mass migrations towards agricultural areas also in the Mesopotamian Valley drought had an impact on the transition of human groups from hunting and collecting sustenance in ancient stone ages to the stage of producing sustenance, i.e., agriculture and domestication of animals and to the stage of civilization. Agriculture has led people to take care of plants and distinguish between good or harmful herbs and cultivate fruits, leaves, branches and roots especially that can be used in drugs.
