The Basic Sciences Branch at the college of dentistry at the University of Baghdad has sponsored a workshop entitled “The serial polymers interaction with reverse transcription” presented by Prof. Dr. Batool Hassan al-Ghurabi. The workshop dealt with a detailed explanation of a laboratory technique that combines reverse transcription of DNA (cDNA) with the multiplication of specific target DNA molecules using polymerase chain reaction. This technique is also used mainly to measure the amount of (mRNA) through monitoring the interaction of fluorescence multiplier, often a technique called linear polymerase reaction that is routinely used to study gene expression and estimate the amount of RNA virus whether in research or in medical laboratories, since it is a method widely used in molecular biology in order to rapidly produce billions of copies of the RNA sample and to amplify it into a large amount so as to study it in detail.
