The college of engineering hosts a number of professors and students from the Institute of Technology

The department of architecture at the college of engineering has received some professors and students from the Computer Drawing Branch at the Institute of Technology whose top students are able to complete their study in this department. A joint workshop was held for this purpose that included several discussions about the design of the infrastructure and corridors of the University of Baghdad as well as explaining projects presented by the second-grade students based on the use of computer in drawing and preparation of some models of residential houses designed by the pioneers of architecture to exchange bilateral dialogues.
