The college of education for pure and applied sciences (Ibn al-Haitham) at the University of Baghdad has received lately several health teams who tried to follow up the compliance with the instructions and decisions of the Iraqi Higher Committee for Health & National Safety in alignment with a number of vaccination campaigns against the spread of Covid-19 pandemic at the onset of the new academic year (2021-2022). The members of these teams met many students, professors and staff, took swabs as well as checked vaccination cards. The visiting health team also praised the efforts made by the deanship and departments to prevent infection and commitment to the social distancing measures and other periodic sterilization procedures applied in classrooms and administrative offices at the college.
