The dean of the college of languages at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Muwafaq al-Musleh has received recently a delegation of the French Institute of Iraq in the presence of the assistant dean for the administrative and scientific as well as the department of French language and professors at the department. The two sides discussed the prospects of joint scientific cooperation between the two sides with the aim of upgrading the curricula through coordination with the French Embassy in Iraq permanently. It is noteworthy that this institute has organized scientific scholarships to Paris for the Iraqi professors and scholars in order to improve their mastery of the French literature and linguistics in addition to keep abreast of the academic and cognitive knowledge about the kind of study at the French universities.
