The college of physical education and sports sciences for women at the University of Baghdad has organized a seminar entitled “Cognitive maps and their relationship to mock memory and mental recycling of some offensive skills in youth basketball” by the master’s student Khaled Saa’i. During the lecturer addressed the concept of cognitive maps as mental models of locations and relative qualities in real-life environments, referring to the mock memory as a process of direct conclusion of personal experience free of any previous experience. He added that the mental rotation represents the process by which individuals can process environmental spatial information or any representations of two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects that is related to the visual representation of such rotation within the human mind.
