The Director General of the Department of Research and Development and Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research at the Department of Scientific Affairs at the presidency of the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, has dedicated the summary of his scientific efforts over 15 years to our university after acquiring an (h-index=12) in Scopus database after publishing (43) research papers, including (410) citations and he was ranked in the 4th position among (658) professors according to the Publins.com data.
It is noteworthy that Dr. Ghassan Abdul Majeed had been awarded a certificate of appreciation and a medal for evaluating scientific research in 2019 for reviewing research in international journals, in addition to reviewing (74) research papers in 2021. The number of his citations in 2021 had reached up to (61) citations according to Scopus, with the publication of (7) researches in the same discipline and at the same year, along with authoring 5 joint researches with scholars from Australia, Brazil and Algeria.
