The deanship of the college of dentistry held recently its 14th scientific conference for postgraduate students under the slogan (Graduate research: a key pillar in community service), in the presence of rector of the University of Baghdad Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi and a number of relevant important figures.
The conference started with reciting verses from the Holy Quran, then playing the national anthem and reading Surah Al-Fatiha for the souls of our righteous martyrs. The dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Raghad Abdul Razzaq al-Hashimi, also gave a speech in which he shed light on the college’s long history, scientific curricula corresponding to the latest specialized international colleges and pointing out that the postgraduate students seek to acquire knowledge in various disciplines to serve their community and develop their qualifications through the conduct of scientific research in theoretical and practical integration with other government institutions to achieve their ambitions in the service of our dear country. Then Dr. Munir al-Saadi delivered a speech in which he addressed the university’s achievement in international rankings in all disciplines in Scopus and Clarivate Analytics and praising the sponsors of this conference for their communication with specialized researchers from several prestigious Arab and international universities for the exchange of experiences in all aspects related to dental surgery. On the sidelines of the conference, an exhibition of specialized scientific posters in this regard was held including a wide range of dental instruments.
