The University of Baghdad has opened up a new outlet for people and vehicles for al-Karkh, i.e, the western half of Baghdad so as to facilitate traffic at the university’s intersection. The assistant rector for administrative affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad stated that this outlet would help to solve the problem of momentum at the university’s main gate, as well as to facilitate the passage of vehicles at the university’s intersection in the morning. This initiative was done under the direct supervision of the security guard and the director of follow-up department Prof. Dr. Muhsen al-Shammari, in cooperation and coordination with the department of Diwan affairs and its engineering and technical efforts that have been continued in day and night for the common good.
