Prof. Dr. Ali Abdul Latif, head of the department of physics at the college of science at the University of Baghdad published seven research papers in physics within the Scopus citation database, CiteScore and Clarivate Analytics. It is noteworthy that the ministry of higher education and scientific research and the university’s presidency encourage scientific research and call on professors to adopt the correct publishing rules followed in most international universities and in the dissemination of scientific research within the world’s certified publishing repositories and stay away from publishing in predatory journals or fake sites so as to ensure the sobriety of academic research.
