Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has recently received the delegation of the American University of Beirut (AUB), where he provided a detailed explanation of our university and its scientific and cultural achievements to his guests.
The two sides discussed the mechanisms of cooperation in several academic aspects, especially at the level of undergraduate & postgraduate studies in the country, as well as exchange of experiences and the establishment of joint workshops, besides seeking prospects of giving free lectures, holding joint scientific conferences and fellowships worldwide. The two parties agreed to continue dialogues for the sake of signing a memorandum of scientific cooperation and bilateral agreements to serve our society and to refine scientific skills of the Iraqi students studying at the American University of Beirut.
