The director of the center for educational and psychological research at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Huda Mohammed Salman along with a number of professors from various university’s faculties met His Excellency the Minister of Interior Mr. Othman al-Ghanmi in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry for Intelligence and Federal Investigations, the Undersecretary of the Interior Ministry for Police Affairs, the Director of the Minister’s Office, the Director of Planning of the Ministry and the Director of the Department of Relations and Information.
The aim of the meeting was to address the widespread problems at the Iraqi community in the present, including drug addiction, violence, cyber extortion and suicide through joint cooperation between the ministries of education, health, information and higher education. For his part, Mr. Othman al-Ghanemi stressed the need to activate coordination with academic competencies, especially the research centers for providing awareness to all members of our community.
