Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has visited recently the college of the physical education and sports sciences and inspected the course of study at its scientific departments accompanied by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Sabah Qassim. The rector was briefed on the services presented for the students of the graduate and postgraduate studies by the library and praising the great efforts of the deanship and the librarians who have endeavored to organize a museum including old pictures and supplies used in the past. Then Dr. Munir al-Saadi made a visit to a number of gymnastics halls and followed-up the course of practical lessons there, especially to keep abreast of the biomechanical and kinetic analysis modern equipment used by students at the laboratory.
