Lecture on monitoring and media analysis mechanisms at the college of media

The department of journalism at the University of Baghdad has organized recently a lecture entitled “Monitoring and media mechanisms analysis” delivered by the head of the department of media, Dr. Siham Hassan al-Shujairi, in the presence of a number of doctorate students. The aim of the lecture is to identify and analyze the factors and the quantitative methods as well as the scientific foundations adopted for covering significant topics and events happening in the Iraqi arena. Dr. Siham al-Shujairi talked about the importance of analyzing the message delivered by the Iraqi media programs directed towards the public and the need for upgrading the skills of our journalists and correspondents in specific professional fields so as to increase awareness and trust among people.
