Dr. Jumaa Heriz al-Tulbi, a faculty member from the department of antiquities at the college of arts has authored recently a book entitled “Settlement patterns and architectural styles in the Upper Mesopotamia region in the Neolithic period” published by the General House of Cultural Affairs in Baghdad. The book included chapters dealt with the development of settlement in Upper Mesopotamia including (Northern Iraq, Southeastern Turkey and Northeastern Syria) from the earliest ages until the end of the Neolithic period in the sixth millennium BC, with an analysis of the models and development of architecture patterns widespread in those human settlements.
