The dean of the college of medicine at the University of Baghdad has received the former dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the American University of Beirut (AUB), Prof. Dr. Iman Nouhedh and the former Captain of Nursing Professions in Lebanon (2012-2015), Mrs. Helen Samaha Nouhedh.
The visitors met the head of department of public health, Prof. Dr. Fares al-Lami and exchanged talks about the nature of study at the department, then the two sides discussed ways to develop the cultural and research relations between the Iraqi and American academic institutions in general to sustain the process of success and scientific progress witnessed by the University of Baghdad. At the conclusion of the meeting, the faculty’s shield was dedicated to the visiting delegation in recognition of their visit and attempt to collaborate with the college whose legacy extends for nearly 100 years.
