Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad has visited yesterday the college of education for women to inspect the performance of its faculty members and staff and to follow-up its scientific and administrative reality at the start of the new academic year (2021-2022) where he was received by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Ishaq Saleh al-Akam.

Then the rector chaired a meeting with the members of the college council, heads of departments and a number of faculty members so as to discuss the latest developments in terms of the inauguration of new administrative divisions and the development of curriculum, urging them to publish research in global repositories to contribute to the enhancement of our university’s position in international rankings and to focus on the academic commitment among students. Also Dr. Munir al-Saadi directed professors and students to get vaccinated against Covid-19 pandemic to prevent infection and to apply preventive measures to maintain public health in classes. It is noteworthy that the meeting was attended by Assist. Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad, the assistant rector for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Suad Abd Musa, the secretary of the university’s council and the director of the rector’s office, Prof. Dr. Sudad Hisham Hameed.
