Prof. Dr. Saba Jabbar Nehme, dean of the college of engineering at the University of Baghdad has received recently the Director General of the Research and Industrial Development Authority at the ministry of industry and minerals, Dr. Ahmed Younis Qassim and his delegation in the presence of the assistant dean for scientific affairs & postgraduate studies, Prof. Dr. Wadood Taher Mohammed.
The purpose of the visit is to sign a memorandum of understanding and scientific cooperation mechanism between the two sides in order to integrate scientific capabilities related to all scientific and research activities and mutual initiatives in terms of scientific and research support, engineering support and consulting between the two parties in addition to conducting studies, applied scientific research and participating in the manufacture and development of applied research models, upgrading their standard specifications and many other related paragraphs. The two sides agreed to submit a public invitation so as to attend the third World Conference for Nanotechnology Applications 2022, which will be held by the Authority on February 30-31, 2022, in addition to calling for publishing research in its Iraqi Journal of Industrial Research (IJOIR). At the end of the visit, commemorative shields were exchanged between the two parties.
