Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad, has visited recently the college of physical education and sports sciences for women and was received by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Bushra Kazim Abdul Rida, to hold a meeting with the members of the council. The rector was briefed on the scientific departments and other service facilities prepared at the onset of the new academic year (2021-2022), stressing the need to develop an ambitious plan for the college to improve the reality of women’s sports in Iraq and to refine the creative qualifications of female students through participation in summer training camps and other specialized courses that promote their kinetic energy.
Dr. Munir al-Saadi also pointed out that the need for the accomplishment of tasks related to teaching, scientific research in international repositories so as to enhance the citations record and the global rankings of the University of Baghdad. It is noteworthy that the rector was accompanied by the secretary of the university’s council, the director of its office as well as the director of the department of media and public relations.
