Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad, accompanied by his assistant for administrative affairs Prof. Dr. Sarmad Fouad and the director of internal departments, Dr. Omar Faleh Hassan have visited recently the college of veterinary medicine and were received by the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Hamid Ali Kazim. The rector aimed to inspect the mechanisms of reconstruction of classrooms and scientific laboratories, as well as they were briefed on the rehabilitation of the great hall at the college as well as the development of livestock and several practical research projects carried out there.
Also they kept abreast of the sterilization procedures applied in preparation of the onset of the new academic year on October 11. Dr. Munir al-Saadi praised the speed of completion and the accuracy of the implementation of maintenance and rehabilitation work, as well as the keenness of the deanship to show the college in a way that is commensurate with the status and prestige of the University of Baghdad.
