The University of Baghdad has announced that its faculty members have resumed their work to be back to school again at the onset of the new academic year (2021-2022) in accordance with the relevant instructions set by the ministry of higher education and scientific research. Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad, in a statement to the news center of the department of media and public relations, has stressed on the importance of adhering to the official work at all scientific departments, which will reflect positively on the academic sobriety of our prestigious university.

Then he pointed out that professors are obliged to achieve a high level of educational development, enhance sobriety and develop scientific research mechanisms after a period of global lethargy due to the spread of Covid-19 pandemic, also directed to improve the level of job performance and competition in international rankings, regardless of any challenges or exceptional circumstances witnessed by the world so as to secure the cognitive knowledge. At last, the rector called on staff and employees to receive vaccines as soon as possible; abide by preventive measures and follow-up sterilization campaigns of all university’s buildings in order to confront this epidemic.
