The Continuing Education Division of the General Secretariat of the Central Library at the University of Baghdad has organized recently an electronic workshop via Google Meet service entitled “Taking advantage of the resources of the central library in the light of Covid-19 pandemic” presented by the director of the Automated Systems Division Mr. Mustafa Abdul Samae Abdul Hamid. The lecturer aimed to explain how scholars and postgraduate students can get benefit from the open access resources in various disciplines during the curfew periods imposed by the Coronavirus epidemic that has ravaged the world.
The workshop included an explanation of how to get access to the following website: https://libcat.uobaghdad.edu.iq/ , as well as how to contact the Secretary General of the central library via Facebook or through the official site of the General Secretariat of the Central Library https://clib.uobaghdad.edu.iq/. It is noteworthy that a number of participation certificates were sent to (29) employees and professors in recognition of their fruitful contributions in this event.
