The University of Baghdad is ranked in the (+1201) position in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2022 that includes more than 1,600 universities across 99 countries and territories, thus retaining its permanent place in this category. This British largest and most diverse university ranking is based on five key performance indicators that measure an institution’s performance across four areas: Teaching (30%), Research (30%), Citation (30%), International Outlook (7.5%) and Industry Income (2.5%).
It is noteworthy that the University of Baghdad has maintained its position as being the top one locally, reflecting its scientific sobriety and outstanding academic performance after achieving great success in light of the Covid-19 pandemic and the underlying social and health challenges.
