Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Al Saadi, rector of the University of Baghdad received recently the director of the Laboratories of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Tripoli and North Lebanon, Mr. Khaled Hussein al-Omari to discuss the mechanism of scientific cooperation between the two sides, in the presence of the assistant rector for scientific affairs Prof. Dr. Abdul kareem Al-Sammarraie. During this meeting, the two parties discussed a number of scientific issues and the procedures that would be adopted for achieving these goals through cooperation between the faculties of the University of Baghdad and the Lebanese University (LU).
On the sidelines of the visit, a meeting was held at the deanship of the Institute of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnologies for Postgraduate Studies, in the presence of the dean of the institute, Assist. Prof. Dr. Saif Dawood al-Ahmar, and a number of deans of faculties and directors of scientific centers to discuss related initiatives made by the college of agricultural engineering sciences under the direct supervision of the dean of the college, Prof. Dr. Kazim Daili Hassan for the same purpose.
