In the name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
(Do they not see that We gradually reduce their land from its borders?)
God Almighty has spoken the truth
With more sadness and sorrow, we mourn the departure of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad-Saeed al-Hakim, the great a Iraqi senior Shi’a religious authority and we have nothing to say than: “We belong to God and to him we shall return, and there is no power but of Almighty God”.
In this painful event, we offer our condolences to the supreme religious authority in Najaf and to the family of al-Hakim with the departure of the deceased who has spent his life in the path of science and missionary work, where he has played a prominent role since the beginning of his life, worked hard to defend the Holy Quran and the legacy of Ahl al Bayt. He has continued to raising the generations who believed in good and virtue and was an example of tolerance and moderation.
Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (PBUH) said: “If a religious scholar dies, there is a furrow in Islam that is not to be filled by anything”. We ask Allah almighty to give him mercy and to inhabit him in paradise with his pure ancestors.
Verily, to Allah we belong, and to Him we return
