Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nasser, the assistant rector for administrative affairs, held a workshop for emphasizing safety and civil defense measures at all university’s formations, in commitment to the directives of the rector Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid al-Saadi.
The workshop which was attended by the directors of the departments at the university’s presidency as well as all deans of research and service centers, aimed to follow-up safety measures taken in all faculties via sub-committees formed in this regard, including monitoring the safety of electrical wires, as well as providing fire extinguishers and first aids. Dr. Ahmed Wahid also stressed the need for providing a safe environment for employees to perform their work in appropriate way by providing all supplies in their designated offices, adding that a central committee has been formed to that end, headed by the rector Dr. Munir al-Saadi and the membership of his assistants to evaluate all relevant matters periodically.
