The department of philosophy, in coordination with Ibn Sina unit for e-learning at the college of arts has organized a virtual entitled (The crisis of creativity in Arab culture) in cooperation with the Arab Philosophical Society.
The lecture was presented by the former dean of the Faculty of Arts in Zagazig University, Egypt, Prof. Dr. Hassan Hammad with the aim to clarify the problems that have affected modern Arab awareness and the confusion between past and present where the renewal can make the new essence or something creative and that may be reflected in some examples of behavior, including methods of speaking and costumes or some of the popular intellectual fashions in the Arab countries. It is noteworthy that this e-lecture was chaired by Assist. Prof. Dr. Ihsan Ali al-Haidari.
