The department of crisis studies at the center for strategic and international studies at the University of Baghdad has organized a workshop entitled “The role of the media in prioritizing Iraqi voters” chaired by the researcher Mr. Mohammed Rashid who addressed the topic of voting and how to target the opinions of the Iraqi people in the coming elections. The researcher confirmed that this process is the most important theory on which the media is based in the formation of the mental image of candidates and the important role it plays in the election period, indicating the role that the media can play in the upcoming Iraqi elections and what is its impact on the points of view on the Iraqi voters.
