Prof. Dr. Ahmed Wahid Nasser, the assistant rector for administrative affairs at the University of Baghdad has inspected the vaccination outlet inaugurated recently at the university’s health center to inspect the continuing major vaccination process against the Coronavirus pandemic.

During this tour, Dr. Ahmed Wahid praised the sincere efforts exerted by the members of health committees for the vaccination of professors, staff and students, urging everyone do their role in this regard in order to reduce infections as soon as possible since it is a social, humanitarian and health necessity to maintain public health and to return back to our normal life again.

Dr. Ammar Aziz Latif, the director of the health center at the University of Baghdad stated that this campaign is to be continued throughout the summer holidays, noting that the vaccine is safe and approved by the World Health Organization (WHO) in coordination with the Iraqi ministry of health and environment. The managing director of the university’s health center, Prof. Dr. Amir al-Ameri, announced that next week will witness the release of the second dose of Pfizer’s vaccine, with a large turnout from various university’s formations.
